Luxury British brand Fairfax & Favor was gearing up for a major push into the U.S. market, but their international shipping process was holding them back.
They were using Scurri as their delivery management platform, but ran into two major roadblocks:
Critical documentation gaps
Their U.S. shipments required specific data fields on commercial invoices, but Scurri wouldn't customise the templates to include them.
Costly customs delays
Packages were regularly getting held at the U.S. border, creating a poor customer experience, driving up support overhead, and threatening Fairfax & Favor's expansion plans.
They needed a flexible, responsive solution, fast.

Custom Commercial Invoice Generation
We tapped into Fairfax & Favor's Peoplevox WMS integration to capture additional custom attributes required for U.S. customs clearance including region-specific data points.
Our platform mapped these custom fields into a bespoke invoice template that met all U.S. requirements, eliminating the risk of packages getting stuck at the border.

Post-Label FedEx Document Upload
We implemented a smart workaround that takes compliance even further:
The system supresses the commercial invoice at the point of label generation.
Seconds later, Voila uses FedEx's Post-Shipment Document Upload API to send the invoice with full tracking reference, directly to FedEx.
This ensures:
The invoice is always linked to the correct shipment
Any custom of trade documentation arrives in the right format, at the right time
No manual uploads, no customs friction
